The Joys of Someren Glen

We have
Musicians and beauticians,
Walks and talks,
Even travels
That help us unravel.

We have
Sunday brunches
And daily lunches,
Days well spent
On current events

We have
Active Minds
We can easily find
To be sure, no one
Is left behind

We have
Puzzles and games
And badges with names
Dancing and singing
And Christmas bells ringing

We have
Days with plays
And quiet days
When we kneel
To pray

We have
Days that we share
And show that we care
There’s the peers that we meet
And many to greet

We have
You in mind
‘Cause you’re one of a kind,
There’s no room
For doom or gloom
Because we want you
To forever bloom!
