We are honored to announce that Someren Glen has been awarded the prestigious World’s Best Culture Certification from Drive. Someren Glen is beaming with pride over this recognition for fostering an outstanding workplace culture, deeply rooted in the values of our parent organization, Christian Living Communities.
In order for senior living organizations to be honored for their for outstanding workplace culture, Drive’s World’s Best Culture uses the Culture Values Assessment by Barrett Values Centre, a tool that has evaluated thousands of companies worldwide. This tool has been utilized by renowned organizations such as Mastercard, Coca-Cola, Prudential, and Volvo. With four million culture assessments and 25 years of data in its database, Barrett Values Centre offers a robust benchmark for measuring organizational culture.
The Culture Values Assessment gives team members a chance to share their personal values, the current values of our community, and desired values of their ideal workplace. Once the feedback is received, it is used to calculate a culture score that reflects the organization’s strength and health based on the alignment of these sets of values. For Someren Glen, these results serve as a foundation for creating growth, unity, and overall well-being through reinforcing what is working and addressing any dysfunction within the workplace.
“This achievement is very important to our residents and team members,” said Steve DeBelle, Executive Director at Someren Glen. “This certification reflects that our team members are not only aligned with our mission, but our motivated to continually contribute to our community. We hope to stay strong in our current values and improve on others through goal-setting and continual conversations with our team. I look forward to celebrating this accomplishment and to see the growth that will come from it!”
