Someren Glen resident Roselyn Mesplay and her daughter Christy weren’t able to celebrate Mother’s Day together last year due to COVID-19. Visits through windows and over FaceTime replaced their in-person visits for many months. After a very difficult year and much time spent apart, Roselyn and Christy celebrated the long-awaited holiday, enjoying each other’s company in the same room.

In an interview with 9News, Roselyn and Christy share their experiences from the last year and gratitude for the days ahead. Watch their interview below and read their story on 9News.com.
